OUR MISSION IS TO SERVE AND SUPPORT
Our mission is to empower individuals (men and women) to achieve their wellness goals through a holistic approach. We believe that fitness is not just about physical strength and endurance, but also mental and emotional well-being, and that is our focus area and specialty.
Corrective Exercise is not a one size fits all approach. Your movement assessment (your 1st session) identifies movement patterns that contribute to pain and could lead to injury or inflammation.
For groups, we design the class/workshop for the needs of the group. We are trauma informed and understand how the idea of 'fitness' doesn't evoke enthusiasm so we approach in a very unique way! Ask us!
Our experienced and certified trainer will guide you on your journey to a healthier, happier you. We are not an 'exercise group or scheduled weekly fitness class'. We are experts that focus on movement patterns that have been developed over your life time. Our sessions, teach you gentle movements that 'correct' incorrect body/joint movement, and will enhance your life in meaningful and real way.
Please reach us at support@energyvibefitness.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
The purpose of the discovery call is for you to explain which type of coaching you'd like and for you to also get a sense of Georgia and her coaching style (as your talking, asking questions). The call is 15 minutes in length. The calls are at no charge to you so no risk.
Corrective Exercise addresses root causes for aches, pains, and injuries, and our program uses gentle movement and a specialty that helps you relieve muscle aches, body pain, and get better results from your workouts.
We are not a gym, we focus on the individual
Here are examples of when Corrective Exercise might be beneficial:
- If you've ever been to a physical therapist for an injury, we are the next step to correct your movement of the ENTIRE body, not just injured area. We focus on entire muscle recruitment, joint alignment, and bone strength.
- If you are already active (gym or other activity) and you get pain in the foot, knee, hip, back, shoulders, arm/wrist. That indicates that your body has automatically adjusted for any type of old injury, pain, or movement where your joints aren't aligned. Corrective Exercises does correct those issues.
- Pain that you live with that you've accepted the fact that you have the pain. Corrective Exercise can help with our movement assessment to determine the root cause. Most often, it's at the ankles, but each person is unique and why we perform assessments and gentle exercises exclusively for the individual. We do not have a template that we use.
Additionally, we design your program based on your lifestyle to maximize your healing and ability to continue that lifestyle.
